The second of October I left the beautifull city of Copenhagen for a new JCI experience: the National Conference in Esbjerg. I have to say that it was the first time i left Copenhagen and I have to say: There's no better way to travel to the other side of the country, than with a group of entusiastic JCI people!

We arrived around 12 in Esbjerg. Just in time for lunch and a reunion with Anuschka! Then we left for the presentation of Martin Lindström. There was an incredible amount of people (from JCI and others) to see him. I have to say that he had a good presentation about branding. I was impressed! The other presentations that weekend were also very  interesting. Of course I also joined the workshop about the EC. Since I'm involved in the international promotion, it was good to get together with other JCI members that are active in this project. Finally I could see the other JCI'ers in real life, after months of email contact.

Of course I didn't miss out on the parties. Friday's party was in 50's style. I almost felt like I was walking around in the movie Grease. There were Dannies and Sandies all over the place. I never thought the Danes were fanatic dancers, but in case you didn't know: they are. Saturday was gala night of course. Everybody looked at their best and the dinner was fabulous. The only problem was that there was too much food, which caused some problems... After some more dancing it was time to get some hours of sleep. I didn't want to miss out on Rune Klans Trylleshow! So 9 o'clock the next morning I was back at the stadium to see Rune, two other presentations and part of the elections.

I have to say: it was a pretty tiring weekend... but it was deffinitely worth it! I sure hope I get to go to many other conferences, and I hope to be seeing all of you at the spring conference.

Stephan, Susanne, Roy, Aude, Rasmus, Anuschka and Lars, thanks for a great weekend!
