JCI Copenhagen International invites you to a Speaking Skills Training on August 21st

About the Event: The training on 21st August is the first step in the Golden Microphone program that JCI Copenhagen International has set up to foster our members' personal development. If you are planning to test yourself and participate in the Golden Microphone competition - this training is a MUST ! If you are curious about what speaking skills means - this training will give you the golden opportunity to learn more & practice in a safe environment.

Time: Thursday 21st of August from 18:00 to 21:00 hours - during the monthly chapter meeting

Place: In Copenhagen City. The exact location will be confirmed upon registration.

Price: Approx 150 DKK

Sign Up: At the latest on Tuesday 15th August. Directly on the JCI calendar or by e-mail to  Malene Nielsen.

 

Training’s objectives: The participants will learn about speaking skills techniques and all that jazz around them. They will work more specifically the set of guidelines of JCI Denmark in order to prepare the upcoming competition. And they will be given the opportunity to speak up and practice their newly acquired skills. The training will include tips and tools, as well as hands-on experience & practice

About the trainer: Aude Simon, NG, will train this session. She is a recognized JCI trainer and is also a passionate speaker. In 2007 she won the Danish Golden Microphone competition and in 2008 she was finalist in the JCI European speaking skills championship. She just loves talking !
Preparation work: Whether you are a participant of the JCI Golden Microphone Competition or if you are simply curious to know more about Speaking techniques, please prepare the following before attending the training session. 1) Read about the Golden Microphone Program and about the speaking skills rules. 
2) Select one of the topics displayed on the page and prepare a 5 minute speech. 
3) Note any comment/question/experience you might have when you prepare your speech
Language: The language of the training is English. If you have any problem understanding the rules or selecting the topic due to your not understanding Danish, please contact the organiser of the training for help in translation !
