JCI Copenhagen International

About JCI Copenhagen International PDF Print E-mail

JCI Copenhagen International (JCICI) is a chapter in Region Hovedstaden (the Capital Region) of JCI Denmark. JCICI was established as the first international chapter in Denmark, at the JCI World Conference in 2003. As a part of JCI, the chapter is open to active professionals (internationals and internationally-minded Danes) between the ages of 18 and 40, who seek networking opportunities and possibilities for personal development. Through projects, teamwork and chapter meetings, JCICI members develop themselves, exchange ideas, and learn how to interact on a cross-cultural basis. The chapter strives to enable these possibilities in a relaxed and motivating atmosphere.

We are a team of young, enthusiastic professionals in the Copenhagen area. Our members represent many of the key national and international organisations in and around the Copenhagen area, which brings great benefits in terms of business contacts. We come from various different countries, have many different fields of expertise and backgrounds. Currently (2010) around 12 nationalities are represented among our members.

We use our time within the chapter to develop our professional and social skills. As part of JCI, we have access to training, seminars and programs for skills that will help us grow and manage our jobs or businesses better. We have opportunities to lead and manage projects and we are active in teams and events.

We encourage (and expect) all our members to be actively involved. Involvement in our chapter is professionally and culturally challenging and it is also lots of fun, given our internationally colourful atmosphere. Maybe we think in different languages, but we speak English together.

Together we form a strong and encouraging social and professional network. We welcome you to learn more about us or join us in order to develop yourself!
